THEATRE DES CHAMPS-ÉLYSEES / REPRISE
Dieu, la foi, le martyr, autant de thèmes chers à Olivier Py qui n’a jamais caché son catholicisme ni son mysticisme. Dialogues des carmélites, l’opéra de Poulenc inspiré par le texte de Bernanos, semblait taillé à sa mesure. En 2013, la création de cette production fut un succès unanime, chacun saluant une mise en scène magnifique à force d’épure, à l’unisson d’une direction et d’une distribution frisant la perfection. Si le DVD existe (chez Erato/Warner) et a obtenu plusieurs prix, rien n’égale l’émotion du direct. Pour cette reprise, Sophie Koch, Patricia Petibon et Véronique Gens réendossent leurs rôles de Mère Marie de l’Incarnation, Blanche de La Force et Madame Lidoine. S’ajoutent d’autres excellents chanteurs : Sabine Devieilhe, Anne Sofie von Otter, Nicolas Cavallier et Stanislas de Barbeyrac, toujours sous la baguette inspirée de Jérémie Rhorer.
