En 2021, Chloé Brugnon et Maxime Kerzanet ont imaginé, avec leur Compagnie Claire Sergent, un spectacle à partir de Phèdre de Racine. « En capturant des bouts de textes, en isolant un ou deux vers […] répétés, bouclés », Maxime Kerzanet a composé des chansons pour « donner la possibilité à cette poésie d’exister en dehors de la pièce, de sa narration, d’être un monde en soi ». Cet objet hybride a fait l’objet d’un album, Dieux que ne suis-je assise à l’ombre des forêts, qui sert de point de départ à un duo en scène où aux chansons se mêlent les anecdotes des coulisses et de la gestation de la création. Cette alchimie singulière entre les mots de Racine et l’humour du stand-up se veut comme une désacralisation d’un des monuments de notre littérature, dans une intimité accessible à tous les publics. Les spectateurs de cette forme itinérante, conçue pour des scènes alternatives, repartiront avec un exemplaire de la pièce et pourront retrouver l’album gratuitement sur les plates-formes numériques.
