Concert sur la Seine / Djazia Satour
Passée très jeune par Gnawa Diffusion, révélée avec le groupe trip-hop MIG au début des années 2000, Djazia Satour a frayé avec la soul et le blues avant de revenir à ses racines et d’inventer, avec une inspiration subtile et respectueuse, une pop algérienne sensible, qui mêle avec fraicheur intonations et rythmes traditionnels à des influences folk et une sensualité groove. A l’opposé de l’auto-tune à outrance et des saturations synthétiques qui ont envahi les productions arabes, la chanteuse aménage, dans son album Aswât (Des voix), un espace acoustique où s’expriment toutes les nuances de sa voix, la sincérité et l’engagement de son univers poétique, et l’élégant assemblage de ses musiciens qui intègrent à leur instrumentarium le tar et le bendir, percussions du Maghreb. La manière dont Djazi Satour, par l’élégance de son articulation, restitue toute la délicatesse expressive de la langue arabe dans ses accents algériens est à elle seule un bonheur à entendre et une bonne raison de la découvrir sur scène.
