NOUVELLE PRODUCTION / OPERA DE ROUEN NORMANDIE
« C’est un personnage en fuite, un voyageur, un nomade, à qui la seule idée de poser ses valises quelque part provoque la nausée ». Frédéric Roels dresse le portrait d’un inépuisable séducteur, un destructeur, un impuni qui ne connaît aucune limite. Don Giovanni, « héros » du drame musical composé à la fin de la vie de Mozart, apparaît sur la scène de Rouen. Frédéric Roels, entouré de sa fidèle équipe artistique, en propose une mise en scène dynamique et mouvante. Le Chœur Accentus rejoint l’Orchestre de l’Opéra Rouen Normandie pour cette production qui sera aussi la première de Leo Hussain dans la fosse d’orchestre. Le bouillonnant nouveau directeur musical de la maison, passionné par l’univers mozartien, dirigera une distribution de chanteurs internationale : David Bizic, Jean Tietgen et Birgitte Christensen.
