CHANSON – MUSIQUES DU MONDE / SARTROUVILLE
Née en 1975 dans une famille de musiciens, baignée toute son enfance par les voix d’Oum Kalsoum, Fairouz ou Asmahan (trois « Princesses » auxquelles elle avait dédié un album en 2012), Dorsaf Hamdani s’inscrit dans la grande tradition du chant classique arabe. Fidèle à une tradition musicale du Maghreb, terre de croisements et de rencontres de civilisations, elle a entrepris de faire dialoguer, d’une rive et d’une langue à l’autre, dans un même album, les chansons de la légendaire Fairouz et de notre Barbara nationale. Deux divas, deux interprètes bouleversantes, mais peut-être aussi et avant tout deux femmes libres, l’une française et juive, l’autre libanaise et chrétienne, sensibles, insoumises, témoins douloureux de l’Histoire et de la guerre, et toujours éperdument en quête d’amour et de tolérance. Dorsaf Hamdani se glisse avec émotion et raffinement dans les pas de ces grandes Dames, servie par les arrangements de l’accordéoniste Daniel Mille et de Lucien Zerrad (guitare, oud). Avec aussi Zied Zouari (violon) et Youssef Zayed (percussions, oud).
