Dans le cadre des quarante ans de Théâtre Ouvert, François Berreur présente Ebauche d’un portrait, qu’il a créé à partir du Journal de Jean-Luc Lagarce, constitué de 23 cahiers écrits entre 1977 et 1995. Cette vie d’homme qui se raconte ligne après ligne – qui est aussi le portrait d’une époque et d’une génération – accorde une large place aux questionnements artistiques de l’écrivain et de l’homme de théâtre ainsi qu’aux questionnements philosophiques d’une conscience humaine aux prises avec l’inexorabilité du temps et la menace de la mort. “C’est quelqu’un qui s’est penché sur l’intime, considérant que chaque être humain, chaque individu a en lui toute l’humanité, y compris la barbarie, la guerre… “ confie son ami François Berreur, qui a fondé avec lui les éditions Les Solitaires intempestifs en 1991 et a travaillé au sein du Théâtre de la Roulotte pendant une quinzaine d’années. L’excellent comédien Laurent Poitrenaux saura faire entendre la profondeur intranquille et les nuances subtiles de ce texte où se reconnaissent à la fois l’ambition de l’écrivain… et l’éternité d’une oeuvre.
