On les a rencontrés en 2010, vêtements multicolores, mettant sens dessus dessous leur salle de classe avec une énergie débridée, un humour ravageur et une fraîcheur charmante. Avec Elektro Kif, ces huit danseurs électro découvraient la scène sous le regard enthousiaste et bienveillant de Blanca Li, qui poursuivait avec eux son travail sur les danses urbaines. Après la transposition du spectacle en film, comédie musicale sans parole qui chorégraphiait une journée de lycée (Elektro Mathematrix, 2016), on retrouve ces anciens élèves devenus des danseurs professionnels toujours plus virtuoses. S’appuyant sur le style et la personnalité de chacun d’entre eux, l’artiste espagnole, installée depuis 25 ans en France, met en scène dans Elektrik leur quotidien contrasté de jeunes hommes. L’occasion de vérifier que la danse électro ne cesse d’évoluer et de s’enrichir, sans jamais perdre de son exubérance et de son explosivité si communicatives.
