Eléonore Weber aime les questions directes, de celles qui tranchent dans le mou sans convictions, tâtonnent dans l’angle aveugle des évidences et tapent précisément le vide des certitudes pour faire résonner les questionnements confus d’un temps en perpétuel déphasage. Avec Tu te poses sur un coin d’herbe, son précédent opus, elle tricotait les fils d’un récit éclaté où le « je » fragmenté, indécis, infusé des doutes d’une époque en mal de tout, tentait de s’anesthésier à coups de petits ersatz de bonheur formaté. Nourri de Premiers matériaux pour une théorie de la Jeune Fille, livre de Tiqqun, et des Idiots, film de Lars von Trier, Rendre une vie vivable n’a rien d’une question vaine fouille encore plus loin dans l’écheveau serré des points de suspension de l’existence pour explorer la sphère intime, décalée du réel, infiltrée en sourdine par les normes sociales et les idéaux profilés du système marchand. L’écriture, tissée à même le plateau, croise vidéo, mise en jeu des corps, phrases piquées sur internet, témoignages et univers sonore, comme autant de facettes qui renvoient l’image trouble d’une inquiétude collective.
