PIANO ET QUATUOR A CORDES / SALLE CORTOT
Formée par ses maîtres aux quatre coins du monde, à Buenos-Aires avec Bruno-Leonardo Gelber ou à Mayence par le grand chef d’orchestre Sergiu Celibidache, mais aussi à Londres et Vienne, la pianiste Elizabeth Sombart (née à Strasbourg) est une musicienne voyageuse dans l’âme. Elle est aujourd’hui installée en Suisse où ses voyages se poursuivent « vers les autres », dans le cadre de la Fondation Résonnance qu’elle a créée et qui s’est fixé pour missions « d’offrir la musique classique dans les lieux où elle n’est pas » (hôpitaux, maisons de retraite, prisons…) mais aussi de développer des programmes d’enseignement musical gratuits. La musique de Chopin, celle juvénile et lumineuse de beauté de ses deux concertos, la propulse aujourd’hui dans l’actualité parisienne. D’abord avec un nouvel enregistrement réalisé avec le Royal Philharmonic Orchestra de Londres dirigé par Pierre Vallet, puis sur scène à la Salle Cortot dans la trop méconnue et délectable version pour piano et quatuor à cordes de ces deux mêmes œuvres, accompagnée par le Quatuor Résonnance.
