Dans Elle(s), le personnage de la jeune fille est doué de polymorphie et Jessica Fanhan incarne tour à tour les femmes qu’elle se voit devenir. Une performance d’actrice doublée d’un texte qui laisse percevoir les contraintes sociales pesant sur le devenir des femmes, encore aujourd’hui. Tour à tour femme de ménage, femme d’affaires, actrice porno, femme hystérique, naïve ou séductrice…, la petite fille se projette bien évidemment dans le kaléidoscope des représentations qui l’entourent.
Absentée du monde
En réponse à ces fantasmes, Sylvie Landuyt porte le rôle d’une femme éreintée, absentée du monde et des autres, à commencer par le regard de son mari. La mélancolie des riffs de Ruggero Catania accompagne des plaintes pop convoquant par exemple France Gall – « Laisse tomber les filles » – ou le fameux « Bang Bang (my baby shot me down) ». Quand la société impose ses choix, les femmes n’ont plus pour seule liberté que celle d’être à disposition : un spectacle fantasque, drôle et rugueux sur les stéréotypes qui emprisonnent.
