C’est le troisième spectacle que le comédien-auteur-humoriste Jean-Jacques Vanier coécrit avec François Rollin, qui est aussi ici metteur en scène. Tous deux mettent en mots un immense défi, celui de comprendre les femmes, et tout simplement Jean-Jacques Vanier se met à la place de la sienne, celle qu’il connaît “le moins mal“. Une quête éperdue vise donc à connaître l’âme humaine et féminine, une entreprise vouée à l’échec qui cependant déclenche le rire, dès que le petit homme inquiet et vaguement égaré, d’une touchante persévérance et d’une maladresse désopilante, entre en scène. Tout commence dans un magasin de chaussures, où la vendeuse au décolleté vertigineux a un bouton ouvert…puis fermé. Involontairement ou pas ? Au fil d’un soliloque joyeusement drolatique, évitant les clichés et les attendus, explorant le sentiment amoureux et la complexité de la séduction, le comédien se pose mille questions et se complique la vie, au grand bonheur des spectateurs.
