Audace de la permanence artistique en ces temps de morosité et de restriction, pari que la jeunesse est le meilleur antidote à la sclérose, volonté de faire quelque chose même avec trois fois rien et en très peu de temps, désir de la joie partagée, conviction que le collectif, la troupe et la rencontre sont des valeurs plus encore que des formes : Embrassons-nous Folleville ! réussit brillamment à prouver que les défis les plus apparemment insensés peuvent être relevés avec panache. Laurent Fréchuret a installé au cœur secret de son théâtre une bonbonnière vaporeuse dans laquelle s’agitent avec un emportement épatant de drôlerie les quatre comédiens auxquels il confie la partition détonante inventée par Labiche. A l’issue de la représentation, un pot convivial réunit les spectateurs et les acteurs, parce que Sartrouville n’a de cesse de décloisonner les habitudes et de faire le pari d’un théâtre véritablement politique, c’est-à-dire inscrit dans la proximité et l’échange. Ca déménage, donc, et ça marche !
Une fracassante et volcanique partie de plaisir
Montée en quelques semaines avec les trois comédiens établis de façon pérenne dans cette maison de création (Nine de Montal, Elya Birman et Philippe Baronnet) et un Laurent Lévy en super forme qui campe à merveille le barbon capricieux et irascible que doivent affronter les jouvenceaux amoureux, la pièce de Labiche ouvre en fanfare cette nouvelle ère du CDN. Des jabots et des perruques, un piano meringué, un marteau dévastateur dans les mains d’une virago survoltée, des assiettes fracassées à la volée, un combat à l’épée, des lettres déchirées avec dépit et une bataille à grandes louchées de lentilles : on s’amuse franchement au spectacle des attachements extravagants entre les quatre protagonistes de cette farce en dentelles. Manicamp, toqué de Folleville, veut à tout prix lui faire épouser sa fille, la strombolienne Berthe, qui n’a que faire du falot Folleville et lui préfère l’explosif Chatenay qu’elle a séduit en le giflant pour un menuet massacré… Les comédiens s’en donnent à cœur joie et jouent à merveille les pantins possédés par la fièvre de la passion. Rugissante et badine, folâtre et délirante, cette pièce rondement menée et allègrement interprétée place sous les auspices de la vivacité et de l’inventivité l’installation de comédiens permanents au CDN de Sartrouville.
