Adepte des mots-valises, des chausse-trappes verbales et de la fausse naïveté, Emma la clown trimballe son nez rouge, son chapeau cloche et sa candeur incisive sur les scènes où, de succès en succès, elle se fait exploratrice en Afghanistan, sous le divan et chez Dieu. Voilà que désormais elle chante les chansons qu’elle a écrites. Meriem Menant, « sa patronne », a « grandi avec Anne Sylvestre, Georges Brassens, Jean Ferrat, Léo Ferré, Charles Trenet » : autant de maîtres capables comme elle de flirter avec l’acidité et l’émotion, autant de guides de qualité pour réaliser ce périlleux exercice qu’est celui de la chanson où en quelques minutes, une histoire doit toucher et faire chavirer. Accompagnée par Mauro Coceano (qui a composé la musique), Michel Aumont, Nicolas Courret (ou Gaël Desbois), Emma s’essaie à cet art faussement simple et terriblement précis : en deux mots, tout elle !
