PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS / ORATORIO
L’année 2019 marquera, on aura l’occasion de le réécrire tant les concerts de qualité vont se succéder, le 150ème anniversaire de la mort d’Hector Berlioz. Notre grand compositeur romantique s’est en effet éteint le 8 mars 1869 dans son appartement parisien du 4 rue de Calais, dans le 9ème arrondissement, où il aura passé les treize dernières années de sa vie… L’actualité de ce mois de février invite à deux concerts exceptionnels à la Philharmonie, le premier sous la direction d’Emmanuel Krivine, Berliozien incontesté, à la tête de son Orchestre National de France, dans la Damnation de Faust, chef-d’œuvre ardent. Deux semaines plus tard, c’est le phénoménal Requiem qui sera au programme, partition démoniaque à l’effectif délirant mobilisant pas moins de deux orchestres et deux chœurs, et un ténor en soliste. Le chef espagnol Pablo Heras-Casado, grand connaisseur de la musique vocale et chorale, sera sur le podium face aux musiciens réunis des Orchestre de Paris et Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris et aux chanteurs des Chœur de l’Orchestre de Paris et Choeur Orfeon Donostiarra (de San Sebastian en Espagne), avec le ténor Bryan Hymel en soliste. Au même programme : la Musique funèbre pour cordes seules de Witold Lutoslawski, méditation composée en 1958 et dédiée à la mémoire de Béla Bartók.
