On sait la question de l’espace très vive dans le travail de Julie Nioche, particulièrement lorsque la scénographie vient provoquer un dialogue constant non seulement avec le regard du spectateur, mais aussi avec le corps des interprètes. Ici, elle a choisi de prendre la salle de classe comme écrin du spectacle, et comme espace à métamorphoser hic et nunc avec la complicité même des enfants. Munis de casques et sollicités par des consignes diverses, chacun vaque, tantôt acteur, tantôt spectateur, construisant un nouvel environnement et mobilisant un nouvel imaginaire dans leur présence d’élève. Le temps de l’œuvre est le temps de son édification, mais n’occulte pas l’échange, sous la forme d’une correspondance, que l’équipe artistique a entretenu avec la classe en amont du spectacle et qui se poursuit ensuite. Performance visuelle, chorégraphique, plastique, En classe est un véritable acte, une expérience partagée, au bénéfice du surgissement poétique dans les espaces et les corps.
