Théâtre de Belleville / d’après Eugène Ionesco / adaptation et mes Laura Mariani
Camille, 15 ans, est enfermé dans l’immobilité et le mutisme. Souhaitant faire de lui un adolescent comme les autres, ses parents font appel à un médecin, qui tente de le ramener dans le droit chemin. A l’intérieur du même espace, mais semblant sorti d’un autre monde, un personnage appelé Le Vieux prend la parole pour évoquer ses souvenirs d’enfance et ses angoisses existentielles… En croisant la pièce Jacques ou la soumission à des extraits de Journal en miettes, Laura Mariani a souhaité concevoir « un spectacle hybride » au sein duquel la parole d’Eugène Ionesco vient éclairer « le tumulte intérieur d’un adolescent en pleine métamorphose ». La metteure en scène met ainsi en perspective la figure « de l’anormal » dans le microcosme familial. Une façon d’explorer le passage de l’enfance à l’âge adulte. Et d’interroger « la singularité de l’individu par rapport à ce que le groupe attend qu’il soit ».
