NATHALIE JOLY / YVETTE GUILBERT / THEATRE DE LA VIEILLE GRILLE
Nathalie Joly, actrice et chanteuse, passionnée par la culture des cabarets, narre en deux volets ce personnage mythique du Moulin Rouge ou de la Scala, mais aussi des scènes du monde entier : après avoir raconté la Guilbert par le prisme de son amitié avec Sigmund Freud dans le premier épisode Je ne sais quoi, Nathalie Joly crée la suite de cette biographie chantée. En v’là une drôle d’affaire dépeint une Yvette Guilbert pionnière, précurseur du sprechgesang ou du slam, engagée dans un art citoyen, une parole féministe et populaire. « La plupart des chansons interprétées par Yvette Guilbert choisies pour cette création présentent un grand intérêt textuel. Nous ne disposions que de traces enregistrées peu audibles, ou seulement d’une partition avec une ligne mélodique et peu d’accompagnement, parfois même d’un texte sans élément musical. Nous avons donc effectué un travail d’écriture, pour introduire un mouvement, ou un balancement plus adéquat à notre époque et à l’esprit de notre spectacle. » explique Nathalie Joly alors que ce spectacle créé au Théâtre de la Tempête en juin dernier, repris en juillet dans le Off avignonnais, fait son retour à Paris dans ce temple intimiste de la chanson qu’est le théâtre de la Vieille Grille.
