PHILHARMONIE / MUSIQUE CONTEMPORAINE
Sous la direction de son chef depuis 2013, Matthias Pintscher, l’Ensemble intercontemporain mettra en regard une œuvre majeure de Boulez, sur Incises pour 3 pianos, 3 percussions et 3 percussions-claviers, avec plusieurs des pièces qui l’ont le plus influencé. Sur Incises, créée en 1998, constitue une sorte de commentaire d’une précédente pièce pour piano seul, Incises, datant de 1994. Mais l’œuvre boulézienne est aussi et surtout un dialogue permanent avec la Seconde école de Vienne, dont l’Ensemble donnera la Symphonie de chambre n°1 (1906) d’Arnold Schönberg, où l’on perçoit les prémices de la Klangfarbenmelodie, ainsi que trois œuvres d’Anton Webern : les Lieder, pour voix et ensemble (avec la soprane Yeree Suh), le Concerto op. 24 pour neuf instruments et les Cinq pièces op. 10.
