Pour entendre ce mois-ci les solistes de l’Ensemble intercontemporain, il faudra aller au musée. Au Centre Pompidou, ils proposent un programme allant de Bach (Prélude et fugue en si mineur) à Gérard Pesson (Messe noire), en passant par Liszt (Bagatelle sans tonalité), Stravinski (Elégie pour alto), Scriabine (Sonate pour piano n° 9), Schönberg (Symphonie de chambre n°1) et Webern (Quatuor opus 28). Un concert en écho à la remarquable exposition monographique consacrée à Kandinski – d’une abstraction à l’autre… Au Musée d’Orsay, les musiciens donnent un programme plus contemporain, avec notamment une création pour cor solo de Michael Jarrell, compositeur suisse à l’esthétique aussi raffinée qu’exigeante. Outre cette pièce attendue, on pourra entendre des partitions de Marco Stroppa (Gla-dya, études sur les rayonnements jumeaux, pour deux cors), Martin Matalon (Traces III, version sans bande), Georges Aperghis (Rasch), Nunes (Versus II), Tanada (Quatuor avec flûte), sans oublier la légendaire pièce pour flûte Density 21.5 de Varèse. Un concert parfait pour apprécier la haute technicité des solistes de l’Ensemble Intercontemporain.
