Cela fait maintenant onze ans que l’ensemble TM+ est en résidence à la Maison de la musique de Nanterre. Une telle fidélité se décline en différentes manifestations devenues emblématiques. Ainsi, en guise d’ouverture de saison, la formation propose un concert à entrée libre, durant lequel Laurent Cuniot présente les programmes à venir, tandis que ses musiciens offrent des interludes musicaux. On pourra ainsi entendre un solo de vibraphone de Philippe Manoury, ou encore Terrestre, une pièce de Kaija Saariaho, pour flûte solo, harpe, percussions, violon et violoncelle. Mais surtout, l’ensemble proposera un extrait des Sacrifiées, opéra composé par Thierry Pécou d’après un texte de Laurent Gaudé, dont la création aura lieu en janvier prochain. Enfin, une nouveauté cette année : la présentation de saison sera accompagnée par des fragments d’un documentaire réalisé il y a quelques mois par Lionel Escama sur les musiciens de TM+. Un hommage salutaire à ces missionnaires indispensables de la création contemporaine.
