Qu’est-ce que tu feras plus tard ? Et si cette question que tout enfant s’est vu poser n’était pas le premier entretien d’embauche ? À partir de cette situation si universelle, Anne Bourgeois, qui signe le texte et la mise en scène, établit la longue liste de questions et d’entretiens d’embauche d’une femme en quête de travail, interprétée par Laurence Fabre. Comment s’habiller, comment se tenir, comment dire bonjour, comment en faire plus que les autres pour se démarquer sans en faire trop non plus ? Pour un demandeur d’emploi, chaque attitude devient d’une grande complexité, et l’expose à des désillusions. « Est-il vrai que l’on n’existe pas si l’on n’est pas désiré ? », se demande Anne Bourgeois dans cette fable burlesque qui, au-delà du contexte de l’entreprise, parle de notre insatiable besoin de rêver.
