La compagnie CirkVOST est née du désir de cinq circassiens, après la dispersion des Arts Sauts, de continuer une aventure commune. L’aventure de l’envol, des limites d’un corps aérien poussé toujours plus haut et plus loin. Aujourd’hui, Epicycle signe une nouvelle mise en danger, autour d’une structure spécialement conçue à la fois comme scénographie et comme agrès. Une roue monumentale où se télescopent les trapèzes, support d’un monde étrange. Confortablement installé dans des transats, le public découvre une communauté mi-urbaine mi-animale, vêtue de costumes tout droit sortis d’une bande dessinée futuriste. Dans cet univers très marqué, on s’affaire à faire exister son monde, sa mécanique. Dans la constante peur de la chute, la voltige au millimètre rappelle sans cesse la précarité d’une société constamment en mouvement, entre humanité et machine.
