MAISON DE LA CULTURE DU JAPON À PARIS / CORNEMUSE
Depuis plus de dix ans, par des commandes régulières, Erwan Keravec a posé les premières pierres d’un répertoire de musique écrite pour cornemuse. En 2010, il commandait au Japonais Susumu Yoshida une pièce devenue Inori (« Prière »), créée un mois jour pour jour après le séisme et le tsunami du 11 mars 2011. L’instrument se fait alors le passeur d’une musique inspirée par l’art du gagaku, la musique de cour du Japon impérial. Au programme de ce concert commémorant le onzième anniversaire de la catastrophe, Inori voisine avec Ode funèbre à Tristan, que Susumu Yoshida a composée pour le quatuor « Sonneurs », ainsi que Walk on by de Otomo Yoshihide, Run de Wolfgang Mitterer, La Mélancolie du Diable de Zad Moultaka et une version pour cornemuse de Music in Similar Motion de Philip Glass.
