Venue du canada, Chanti Wadge a bénéficié d’une résidence de création pour cette nouvelle pièce. Seventh Sky poursuit la quête de la chorégraphe autour des relations entre l’humain et la nature, dans un duo replaçant les corps au cœur d’une forêt jusqu’à l’oubli de soi. A Athis-Mons, elle partage la soirée avec la chorégraphe d’origine italienne Rita Cioffi qui présente elle aussi un duo. Ce Pas-de-deux ne serait rien sans l’accessoire essentiel que constitue le jean : en effet, c’est à travers leurs pantalons que les deux danseurs vont s’essayer à des prises d’un nouveau genre, se portant et se transportant mutuellement sans ménagement mais toujours dans l’invention de contacts inédits. Un collé-serré étonnant ! Italienne également, la compagnie Abbondanza / Bertoni s’adresse, avec Romanzo d’Infanzia, à un public plus jeune, ou tout du moins à chaque enfant qui est en nous.
Qu’estcequetudeviens ? d’Aurélien Bory, le point d’orgue du festival
Ce temps fort est une opportunité de découvrir Kelma… un cri à la mère, le travail de la marocaine Meryem Jazouli. Formée à la danse en France, elle est revenue au Maroc pour développer son propre travail et œuvrer à la reconnaissance de l’art contemporain, notamment avec un collectif de plasticiens ou à travers la création du lieu Darja dédié à l’expérimentation. A surveiller également : le parcours de Sylvia Camarda, qui a travaillé avec Jan Fabre comme avec les Ballets C. de la B. et qui présente, sur le thème des soldats-tyrans, Conscienza di terrore : I. Aurélien Bory, qui n’est pas à proprement parler un artiste émergent, est également présent dans le festival à travers la pièce qu’il a offerte à Stéphanie Fuster, danseuse flamenca. Une belle mise en scène de son identité, portée par une scénographie étonnante et une belle complicité avec la musique.
