SPECTACLE MUSIACAL / MEUDON
Le musicologue Gilles Cantagrel, grand spécialiste de l’oeuvre de Bach, qualifie les Passions selon Saint Jean et Saint Matthieu d’ « opéras spirituels ». Il est donc totalement légitime d’en proposer des versions scéniques. A la Philharmonie de Berlin, le chef Simon Rattle a ainsi récemment demandé à Peter Sellars de mettre en scène ces deux partitions. Pour ceux qui n’auraient pu traverser le Rhin, on leur conseillera de se rendre à Meudon découvrir le spectacle Et le coq chanta…, dans lequel la compagnie Manque Pas d’Airs, fondée en 2007, réunit des extraits des deux Passions de Bach pour en faire un spectacle mêlant théâtre et musique. La mise en scène, qui fait du Christ le personnage principal et se concentre sur la souffrance, a été confiée à Alexandra Lacroix et la direction musicale à Christophe Grapperon, ancien assistant de Marc Minkowski et régulièrement invité à préparer le choeur Accentus. Pour des raisons sans doute économiques, la partie orchestrale se limite malheureusement à six instrumentistes. Du côté de la distribution vocale, on retrouve de jeunes voix déjà rompues au baroque, comme la soprano Aurore Bucher.
