Théâtre le Petit Louvre / Chanson / Angélique Ionatos
Angélique Ionatos nous a donné l’habitude de chanter la Grèce et sa poésie. Cette musicienne interroge les poètes dans leur dimension idéaliste, levant le bouclier du rêve face à la barbarie sociale. De la rébellion clandestine à l’exil, ce sont la langue et le verbe qui font sens et qui recréent une appartenance au milieu du chaos. « Ma langue est devenue ma patrie ; la seule qu’on ne pouvait pas me confisquer. Il était vital pour moi de l’aimer, la cultiver et la défendre. Paradoxalement, c’est en apprenant le français que j’ai pu découvrir la beauté de ma langue maternelle. »
La poésie comme rébellion socio-politique
Engageant sa parole artistique, elle dénonce la ploutocratie et l’oubli de la pensée. A travers l’art, c’est la résistance, l’audace poétique et l’espoir populaire qu’elle met en lumière. « Aujourd’hui mon pays est humilié. Lorsque je me sens découragée et impuissante, je lis les poètes qui m’ont nourrie et l’espoir revient. » Elle chante ses propres compositions et les œuvres de Theodorakis – le titre du spectacle est tiré du Prophetikon -, son auteur fétiche, rebelle sous la dictature des colonels, ainsi que d’autres poètes majeurs. Avec Katerina Fotinaki (guitare et voix) et Gaspar Claus (violoncelle) jusqu’au 13 puis Claude Tchamitchian (contrebasse) à partir du 15.
