Depuis plusieurs années, le Théâtre Gérard-Philipe mène, en coproduction avec la ville de Saint-Denis, une programmation de théâtre jeune public de grande qualité. Cette année, le festival suit le rythme des saisons et se décline en trois temps : hiver, printemps et automne. S’efforçant de proposer des spectacles exigeants et de qualité, de travailler avec des équipes étrangères et au plus près des publics locaux, proposant des ateliers, des expositions et des films et un vrai accueil des enfants formés aux us et règles du spectateur et préparés en amont de la représentation à la recevoir au mieux, ce festival se veut une véritable rencontre entre les artistes et le jeune public. Représentations scolaires et représentations tout public alternent pour permettre au plus grand nombre de découvrir les joies théâtrales.
Thèmes et plaisirs variés
Dans le cadre de cette cession de printemps, l’exposition La Maison de mon doudou retrace les moments forts du projet mené par Fiona Meadows auprès de jeunes malades hospitalisés à Paris, Strasbourg et Marseille. Le 16 mai, de 14h30 à 15h30, est organisé l’atelier La Maison de bonbons, autour du spectacle Hans et Greutel. Les spectacles à voir en mai (après Faim de loup, 86 centimètres et Chansons pour les petites oreilles accueillis en avril) varient les thèmes, les plaisirs et les adresses. Nam-Bok le hâbleur raconte les aventures polaires d’un visionnaire en canoë aux enfants à partir de 9 ans, le 6 mai à 14h30. Stone ! aborde les colères et les peurs de l’adolescence le 8 et le 13 mai à 16h et le 9 à 19h. Hans et Greutel revisite le conte des Grimm en théâtre d’objets pour les petits à partir de 5 ans, le 13 mai à 15h et le 16 mai à 16h. Seule dans ma peau d’âne adapte Perrault pour les enfants à partir de 8 ans, le 13 mai à 15h30. Autant d’occasions et d’opportunités de découvrir les mystères et les beautés des arts de la scène !
