« J’aimerais dessiner deux avenues pour venir jusque-là et pour s’éloigner sans qu’ici jamais ne se perde », aime dire François Laroche-Valière. Chorégraphe venu des arts plastiques, François Laroche-Valière condense dans cette phrase la substance de son projet 2 avenues : il s’agit avant tout d’un travail sur le corps et sa présence dans l’espace, dans son territoire, dans un constant aller-retour entre la provenance et l’éloignement. A travers cette démarche, il interroge la place du corps dansant, sa présence en tant que sujet malgré l’abstraction. Il le recentre en tant que porteur d’acte, de sens et de parole, conscient de l’élaboration de son geste et du surgissement de l’acte poétique.
