Un sas, un no man’s land : les dix demandeurs d’asile d’Exils,de Fanny A. A. et de Bruno Abadie, arpentent une zone d’attente lugubre et vide. La pièce rassemble, avec cran et conviction, une série de témoignages diffuseurs à la fois d’émotion et d’angoisse, mais aussi d’espoir : et c’est bien ce qui fait la raison de ce théâtre vif et allègre. La musique et les chants apportent au public la plénitude et la confiance, quand les témoignages se font trop rudes. Les spectateurs se reconnaissent en ces demandeurs d’asile, ces quêteurs d’une existence digne, pareillement craintifs ou vindicatifs ou bien porteurs d’une belle espérance. L’humanité morcelée se rassemble en un puzzle d’interprètes sur le plateau de Bruno Abadie, à l’écoute des douleurs et du dénuement des exilés, éloignés de leur pays et de leurs origines, mais prêts à se reconquérir ailleurs.
