Exposée en fin de saison dernière dans une (trop) ambitieuse intégrale des Concertos de Brahms au Châtelet, la pianiste aux yeux de rêve n’a pas tardé à retrouver son public de fans parisiens. Elle choisit aujourd’hui le Concerto pour piano et orchestre n° 5 “L’Empereur” de Beethoven, autre œuvre magistrale et récente de son répertoire, fraîchement enregistrée pour Deutsche Grammophon. Mais le véritable centre d’intérêt de cette soirée pourrait être le retour avenue Montaigne, pour la troisième année de suite, de la légendaire Staatskapelle de Dresde dirigée par son nouveau directeur musical Fabio Luisi. Rappelons que l’orchestre, fondé en 1548 par le prince-électeur Mortiz von Sachsen, a fêté le 22 septembre 1998 son 450e jubilé et peut s’enorgueillir d’être l’un des plus anciens orchestres du monde. Succédant à Giuseppe Sinopoli puis à Bernard Haitink (2002-2004), Fabio Luisi a choisi de conclure son programme avec Une vie de héros, le génial poème symphonique de Richard Strauss.
