Pour cette édition, placée sous le signe de l’ivresse et de la transe, les amateurs de grand mix seront encore de la drôle de party qu’est Factory. A commencer par Aufgang, le trio composé de deux pianos et d’une batterie dont le premier ovni éponyme explosait voici un an avec brio les formats académiques. Leur nouvelle création, « Air On Fire », a pour ambition de remettre en perspective leurs improvisations électro-organiques à partir des projections du vidéaste londonien Mox. A ne pas manquer d’autant que la première partie est assurée par Chapelier Fou, le virtuose du violon qui excelle dans les mixtures improbables (le 25 septembre à l’EMB de Sannois). Ce ne sera pas le seul concert au-delà du périphérique puisque le festival s’installe le 2 octobre à la Dynamo de Pantin, où les plus curieux feraient bien d’aller jeter deux oreilles, histoire de découvrir le Vienna Vegetable Orchestra, onze Autrichiens qui élaborent une tambouille sonore à partir des légumes achetés le matin même au marché qu’ils sculptent à leur guise. Avant eux, dans le même délire bio-esthétique, le trio français GaBLé concocte une folktronica ecolofriendly à partir d’objets bio-dégradables. Un régal.
Déferlante
La veille, l’Élysée Montmartre accueille un autre projet des plus iconoclastes, entendez un grand mix baptisé les Lillies, soit le pianiste parisien David Sztanke, plus reconnu sous le nom de Tahiti Boy, associé à la famille Palmtree Family (les six au grand complet) et le Brésilien Sergio Dias, détonant chantre des psychédéliques Os Mutantes, le tout épicé d’invités surprises. Un joli menu, pour filer la métaphore culinaire. Quant au dernier week-end, il débutera à La Machine du Moulin Rouge avec la trépidante Missill, DJette aux manettes agiles, qui invitera la fine fleur des électrochocs, de Dynamite MC à Daniel Haaksman, pour un set ponctué d’installations HD ! Et il s’achèvera – c’est le mot – avec les terribles !!! (aka chk chk chk), dont chaque performance, entre riffs de guitare azimutés et beats allumés, met le feu au dance-floor. Lequel aura été déjà été sévèrement chauffé des pieds à la tête par Detachments, quatre Londoniens qui pour leur première virée parisienne devraient démontrer toute l’âpreté du mélange entre new wave et acid house.
