Six lieux vibrent pendant près d’un mois, du 16 janvier au 11 février, unis par la programmation de Faits d’hiver : depuis treize ans, ce festival éclectique et engagé joue un rôle de repérage dans les différentes esthétiques de la danse d’aujourd’hui. Le festival ouvrira le 16 janvier avec Madison, de Sarah Crépin, à la MPAA : avec vingt danseurs professionnels et amateurs, la chorégraphe interroge le Madison, cette danse en lignes inventée aux USA dans les années 1960. Cet unisson tournant sur lui-même, répétitif et bien huilé, a aussi quelque chose des défilés militaires, et peut tout aussi bien séduire qu’effrayer. Il porte aussi en lui de nombreuses ouvertures vers le chaos : comme le remarque Sarah Crépin, « il est terriblement tentant de dérégler cette joyeuse mécanique »… Du 17 au 19 janvier à Micadanses, Edmond Russo et Shlomi Tuizer explorent avec embrace les diverses modalités du face-à-face de deux hommes, dans un duo sensible et poétique. Puis, du 20 au 22 à Mains d’Œuvres, François Laroche-Valière présente Jonctions, « pièce-dispositif pour un à quatre interprètes », qui questionne l’écriture chorégraphique et le geste qui la précède.
Mémoire des interprètes
A partir du 23 janvier au Théâtre de la Bastille, Nathalie Béasse présentera Wonderful world, une pièce pour cinq danseurs, à la fois physique et théâtrale. Et du 26 au 31 janvier au Théâtre de la Cité Internationale, on pourra admirer la singulière comédie musicale que Michel Schweizer a créée avec un groupe de dix adolescents : Fauves, qui nous place face à l’énergie et aux rêves d’une équipe juvénile. Sept des neuf spectacles programmés sont des créations, témoignant du caractère aventurier du festival. Serge Ricci et Fabien Almakiewicz, dans une soirée composée de deux pièces, questionnent la mémoire des interprètes. Souvenirs individuels et collectifs, désirs passés et retrouvés : autant de matière pour de nouvelles créations (du 31 janvier au 3 février au Théâtre Paris-Villette). La question du parcours de l’interprète sera également au cœur de Nijinskoff, chorégraphié et interprété par Frédéric Werlé, « justicier oublié d’une fiction chorégraphique » (les 3 et 4 février à Micadanses). Les 7 et 8 février à Micadanses, Jesus Sevari présentera son nouveau solo, Androcéphale. Le festival se terminera les 10 et 11 février à Micadanses avec Tatiana Julien, qui dans La Mort & l’Extase livre une saisissante réflexion sur la volupté liée à la croyance religieuse, et sur les liens entre la mort et la création.
