De la musique, de la fanfare, mais pas seulement ! Ce spectacle convoque aussi bien les airs militaires que des agrès, de la magie, des portés, de l’acrobatie… Souvent indissociée de la fête et du cirque, la fanfare est entendue ici sous sa forme militaire, celle qui motive les troupes ou accompagne les commémorations. La compagnie Circa Tsuïca prend celle-ci à bras le corps et revisite le temps d’un spectacle l’Histoire liée à la première guerre mondiale. Tambours, trompettes et prouesses physiques sonnent avec fracas les pires heures de cette période. Le spectacle se déroule en saynètes aux personnages bien trempés. Les artistes portent un regard décalé, aiguisé et humoristique sur le concept de patriotisme, de nationalisme, exacerbé par l’absurdité des situations. Ici, le cirque dénonce, avec toute une artillerie de performances, de gags, où l’explosion insolente de numéros côtoie l’horreur, où l’émotion et le rire flirtent avec la profondeur du sens.
