Théâtre de Châtillon / de Benjamin Dupé
A demi allongés, assis et adossés, ou au sol sur un coussin : la « composition musicale pour sons électroacoustiques, instruments mécaniques et objets sonores pilotés » de Benjamin Dupé est une expérience sensorielle singulière qui peut se vivre dans diverses positions de perception. « En organisant différents stimuli, explique le compositeur, [cette] pièce déploie une écriture qui s’adresse à l’ensemble des sens, mais dans laquelle la musique demeure le langage prépondérant ». Sans jamais donner à voir la moindre preuve d’intervention humaine, Fantôme, un léger roulement, et sur la peau tendue qu’est notre tympan joue d’événements infimes, d’actions spectaculaires et, même, de phénomènes magiques. Un papier qui se froisse, des coquillages qui rebondissent sur une membrane, des blocs de bois qui tombent, des cymbales qui s’entrechoquent… En faisant se succéder ces suites de sons, de sonorités, de résonances, le concert-spectacle de Benjamin Dupé nous place « au cœur de la vibration musicale ».
