C’est désormais avec quatre danseurs que Bouziane Bouteldja poursuit sa recherche autour de l’identité. Seul en scène dans Réversible, il épluchait les strates d’une identité jusqu’à pouvoir se libérer de certaines assignations. Un cheminement personnel lui avait permis de briser certains tabous, et de dévoiler les complexités à l’œuvre lorsque l’on se dévoile. En demandant à des danseurs marocains de se joindre à son nouveau projet, le chorégraphe ne quitte pas ses obsessions, et les transfère en creusant la question culturelle, et les projections que l’on a de soi et des autres. Il met au jour les ambiguïtés avec lesquelles l’individu est en prise lorsque l’on navigue entre des rives multiples, et la schizophrénie qui le guette pour exister. Stratagèmes, combinaisons, adaptation au monde… Quels chemins nécessaires pour exister ? Que dévoile le geste, ou au contraire, que dissimule-t-il ? Le spectacle, qui commence de façon stéréotypée, aborde, sous ses propres faux-semblants, les préjugés, les contradictions, les apparences, et tente d’en gratter le vernis…
