Première édition d’un festival qui ne devrait guère tarder à s’avérer référentiel, le rendez-vous d’Accords Croisés se donne comme noble ambition de faire s’entrelacer quelques univers forts où la magie géographique le dispute au talent. Le programme est alléchant : deux longs week-ends à voguer du Japon et ses soyeuses cordes (le koto d’Etsuko Chida et les luths de Liu Fang, vendredi 1er février) à l’Occitanie moderne de Lo Côr de la Plana (samedi 2 février à 20h), du lyrisme persan des Soufis (hommage à Rûmi, jeudi 31 janvier à 22h) à la puissance mélancolique et festive des Tziganes (Jeudi 7 février à 20h). Les artistes émergents côtoient les têtes d’affiche toujours en quête de nouvelles sonorités : Titi Robin et Erik Marchand continuent d’explorer la tradition nomade des Rom en puisant cette fois dans les beautés iraniennes (Jeudi 7 février à 22h), la chanteuse traditionnelle algérienne Houria Aïchi fraye avec le jazz oriental et moderne de l’Hijâz’ Car (Vendredi 8 février à 20h)… Ne nous y trompons pas : le propos n’est ni le métissage, ni le mélange des genres tous azimuts, plutôt une volonté de dialogue au gré d’un voyage musical explorateur de traditions et d’idées neuves. Une manifestation foisonnante et exemplaire.
