« Le Théâtre-Studio à Alfortville n’est pas un théâtre au sens de l’économie, explique son directeur, Christian Benedetti. C’est un théâtre au sens étymologique (l’endroit d’où l’on regarde) et au sens politique. C’est un lieu de recherche, de laboratoire et de fabrique. (…) Un lieu de croisement(s)…, allant droit et allant vers, de rencontre avec des êtres. » Allant vers : c’est justement le nom du festival qui, durant un mois à Alfortville, va faire de la périphérie un lieu d’échanges, de questionnements, de création de sens. Cela, en donnant la parole à des habitants (Mon rêve d’Alfortville), en explorant le passage des frontières (Comme j’étais en quelque sorte amoureux de ces fleurs-là), en fédérant autour d’une forme mêlant sport et théâtre (Heptathlon), en enquêtant sur notre société et ses évolutions (La Légende de Bornéo), en interrogeant la représentation et la surexposition du soi (Autoportrait). Une nouvelle occasion, pour l’équipe du Théâtre-Studio, de sonder notre façon de regarder, en s’inscrivant délibérément dans le tissu urbain.
