En s’associant au Théâtre National de Chaillot et aux Subsistances de Lyon pour mettre en commun les coproductions et les diffusions, la démarche d’Antipodes croise Anticodes (voir La Terrasse n°175). Véritable manifeste contre les codes et les prescriptions, la programmation donne à voir toutes formes de mises en scène du corps d’aujourd’hui, triturées par les trublions de la scène chorégraphique contemporaine. Ainsi Cecilia Bengolea et François Chaignaud, artistes associés au Quartz, entreprennent une transposition du mythe de Castor et Pollux tout en renversant le point de vue du public et la verticalité du corps. Etonnante démarche pour ces danseurs qui se confrontent tout aussi bien à la danse libre de Malkowsky dans une nouvelle création.
Près d’une trentaine de spectacles et performances sur onze jours
A côté de ce peuple de danseurs invités au festival (Bernardo Montet, Boris Charmatz, Mathilde Monnier, Loïc Touzé…), on note la présence de Jonathan Capdevielle, tout autant acteur que chanteur sous l’œil de Mark Tompkins pour Adishatz / Adieu. Venue de Suisse, la comédienne Sandra Amodio travaille sur l’image de la femme dans Jennifer ou la rotation du personnel navigant. Quant à Grand Magasin, ils sont à l’image du festival : inclassables, audacieux, toujours iconoclastes.
