Privilégiant des formes brèves, atypiques et contemporaines, le festival Au bord du risque invite des « créateurs curieux, iconoclastes, innovants et surprenants, évoluant aux limites des marges et au bord des frontières ». Les arts de la piste (Au pied du mur, par la compagnie 100 racines, La face sonore, par le funambule Mathieu Hibon, et Opus corpus, par la compagnie Rhizome), le théâtre (Un doux Reniement, mis en scène par Matthieu Roy, et Corps de femme, de et par Judith Depaule), la performance (Tout coule, par la compagnie Day for night), le clown (Emma la clown, voyante extra-lucide), la danse (Not about everything de Daniel Linehan), la musique (La Parade impériale de Kikiristan, par l’orchestre impérial Kikiristan), l’installation (Iqaluit, par le groupe Berlin) : autant de tentatives pour provoquer l’émotion, l’étonnement ou le rire, de manière inattendue et inhabituelle. Pour cette deuxième édition d’Au bord du risque, l’Artothèque du Limousin complète la programmation artistique du festival, en présentant des œuvres issues de sa collection : dessins, photographies et peintures sont réunis comme un petit cabinet de curiosités autour du voyage (exposition du 31 mai au 15 juin, dans le petit salon du théâtre).
