MUSIQUE BAROQUE / VAL D'OISE
Exprimer les passions humaines a toujours été l’un des buts de la musique. À l’époque baroque, cela passe, comme souvent, par l’utilisation des ressources de la voix humaine. Les madrigaux et lamentations de Monteverdi ont ainsi donné ses fondements à l’art lyrique occidental, peu à peu complété par l’invention des compositeurs, puisant ce répertoire des passions aux sources de l’Antiquité ou de la mythologie, des épisodes bibliques comme de l’observation de la nature. Autour de ce thème fédérateur, les églises et théâtres du Val d’Oise accueillent quelques-uns des interprètes majeurs du répertoire baroque, tels les jeunes ensembles Pulcinella (en résidence au festival) et Correspondances, Café Zimmermann ou encore les chanteuses Anna Hlavenkova, Isabelle Poulenard, Françoise Masset… De nombreux spectacles donnent par ailleurs toute sa dimension théâtrale à cette thématique.
