Festival d’Ambronay
Grand-messe du baroque, le Festival d’Ambronay se met à explorer des répertoires plus tardifs. Cette édition, intitulée « Métamorphose », met ainsi à l’honneur la musique sacrée de Mozart. La Messe du Couronnement sera donnée par le Cercle de l’harmonie sous la baguette de Jérémie Rhorer (le 15 septembre, avec le jeune chœur Aedes), tandis que les Vêpres solennelles d’un confesseur seront dirigées par Giulio Prandi avec le Ghislieri Consort (le 28 septembre). Fidèle du festival, le chef Leonardo Garcia Alarcon s’attaque de son côté à l’inévitable Requiem (le 29 septembre). Encore plus audacieux, Ambronay propose même des symphonies de Schubert avec Marc Minkowski et les Musiciens du Louvre, qui viennent d’enregistrer l’intégrale pour le label Naïve (le 16 septembre). Mais les baroqueux pur jus peuvent être rassurés : ils retrouveront également La Petite bande dans Bach (le 21 septembre), ainsi qu’un récital autour de Haendel (le 27 septembre) par l’exceptionnel soprano Roberta Invernizzi (dont le dernier disque, consacré à Vivaldi, est à tomber, chez Glossa), sans oublier William Christie et ses Arts Flo’ dans Charpentier (le 5 octobre). En parallèle sont organisées conférences et master-classes ouvertes à tous.
