FESTIVAL DE DE SAINT-MICHEL EN THIERACHE
MUSIQUE BAROQUE / AISNE
Place forte de la vie baroque en France depuis presque 3 décennies, cette manifestation importante prend place dans la magnifique abbaye bénédictine de Saint-Michel, située dans la Thiérache, jolie région de l’Aisne. Cette nouvelle et 27ème édition se décline en 5 dimanches thématiques du 2 au 30 juin, avec deux ou trois programmes chaque jour et une rencontre conviviale avec les artistes dans l’après-midi. La programmation nous fait voyager de la cour de Mantoue autour de Monteverdi (en ouverture) jusqu’à Rome (en clôture) pour célébrer Corelli à l’occasion du tricentenaire de sa mort… Egalement au programme, une intégrale idéale des Concertos Brandebourgeois de Bach par le Concerto Köln (le 9 juin), une Ode à la Méditerranée (le 16) et enfin un hommage à l’étonnante année 1685 qui a vu naître Bach, Haendel et Scarlatti. A l’image de Fabio Bonizzoni (claveciniste et organiste italien, et directeur de l’ensemble La Risonanza), artiste en résidence à l’Abbaye, quelques-uns des meilleurs interprètes baroques d’aujourd’hui sont attendus à Saint-Michel : les ensembles Les Arts Florissants, Vox Luminis, Profeti Della Quinta et Concerto Köln, les clavecinistes Laurent Stewart et Rinaldo Alessandrini, les chanteuses Hasnaa Bennani, Nathalie Stutzmann et Françoise Atlan, le guitariste et luthiste Eduardo Egüez, le violoniste Enrico Gatti… Que du bonheur !
