MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE / PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS
Le festival créé par la pianiste Elena Bashkirova (et son mari : un certain Daniel Barenboim) s’exporte en concert à Paris. Dans un contexte politiquement des plus délicats, le festival n’en finit pas depuis 1998 de jouer la carte de la rencontre et de la paix, à l’instar du projet du West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, qui rassemble de jeunes instrumentistes israéliens, palestiniens et des états arabes voisins. C’est dire si le festival, lorsqu’il s’invite en tournée comme lors de ces deux soirées parisiennes, propose bien plus que des plateaux d’interprètes relevés, et incarne avant tout un esprit de partage, de paix et de tolérance. La première soirée réunit des œuvres de Gideon Klein, Robert Schumann (Quintette pour piano et cordes), Arnold Schönberg (Symphonie de chambre op. 9) et Hugo Wolf, la seconde de Beethoven, Elliott Carter et Max Reger (Quintette en La Majeur op.146 pour clarinette, violon, alto, violoncelle et piano). Avec Elena Bashkirova (piano), Stella Doufexis (soprano), Michael Barenboim et Kathrin Rabus (violon), Madeleine Carruzzo (alto), Andreas Brantelid (violoncelle), Guy Eshed (flûte), Pascal Moraguès (clarinette), etc…
