BESANÇON / MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE ET SYMPHONIQUE
Créé en 1948, le Concours de jeunes chefs d’orchestre de Besançon sera cette année présidé par Leonard Slatkin, qui dirigera lui-même un concert. Autour des différentes épreuves du concours (les finalistes devront entre autres diriger le Concerto pour piano n°2 de Chopin et des extraits de la Messe en si de Bach, un vrai défi en termes stylistiques), la programmation du Festival est d’une réjouissante profusion, et chacun devrait y trouver musique à son goût. De nombreux événements gratuits, comme le concert d’ouverture ou des rendez-vous de jazz quotidiens, font pendant à de grandes soirées symphoniques (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra dirigé par Charles Dutoit, Alexandre Tharaud dans des concertos de Mozart…), de la musique de chambre (hommage au pianiste roumain Dinu Lipatti, récital des deux mezzos Karine Deshaye et Dephine Haidan…), des œuvres du compositeur en résidence Philippe Hersant… Et, pour finir, un concert sans chef d’orchestre avec l’ensemble Les Dissonances !
