Cinq jours non-stop de musique ancienne. C’est ce que propose le Festival de Sablé, qui fête cette année sa 30ème édition. Cette plongée dans le baroque se fait en compagnie des ensembles sur instruments anciens qui comptent. Le Poème harmonique de Vincent Dumestre poursuit sa collaboration avec le metteur en scène Benjamin Lazar, spécialiste de la déclamation et de la gestuelle d’époque. On les retrouve dans le spectacle La Venexiana, regroupant des œuvres de Monteverdi et de Francesco Manelli (21 août). Les Folies françoises redonnent vie aux « 24 violons du Roy », un projet passionnant qui a fait appel à des facteurs d’instruments (20 août) ; et Doulce mémoire, l’ensemble du flûtiste Denis Raisin-Dadre, nous fait voyager à Prague, à la cour de l’Empereur Rodolphe (20 août). Mais le festival ne se limite pas seulement aux concerts et propose aussi une académie destinée aux instrumentistes et aux danseurs soucieux de se perfectionner dans la rhétorique baroque.
