SARTHE / MUSIQUE BAROQUE
Particulièrement cohérente et attractive, l’édition 2016 du Festival de Sablé décline la question du genre à l’époque baroque, sur scène ou dans la création. Les programmes des ensembles Il Pomo d’Oro et Orfeo 55 mettent la lumière sur les voix de contre-ténor et de contralto, tandis que les ensembles Clematis, The Goldfinch ou Huelgas révèlent les compositrices du XVIIe siècle : Barbara Strozzi, la mère supérieure Isabella Leonarda, l’éminente Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre et Francesca Caccini, la première compositrice d’opéra de l’histoire. Le Collegium Marianum et la danseuse Gudrun Skamletz s’intéressent quant à eux à la danse traditionnelle Forlane, et l’ensemble Pygmalion met en lumière les prémices de l’opéra chez les Médicis à Florence. Un cycle de conférences et des déjeuners sur l’herbe avec les artistes complètent les réjouissances !
