Les mélomanes vont être nombreux à prendre ce mois-ci la ligne 13. Destination : la basilique de Saint Denis, où se succèdent, du 1er juin au 1er juillet, des artistes de premier plan. La programmation met en avant les œuvres écrites pour les Rois de France – un cadre idoine puisque la basilique abrite leur nécropole. Riccardo Muti dirige ainsi l’Orchestre National de France dans le Requiem à la mémoire de Louis XIV de Cherubini (les 3 et 4 juin). Sur instruments anciens, l’ensemble Doulce mémoire joue la Messe de mariage à double chœur de Marco da Gagliano dédiée à Henri IV et Marie de Médicis (le 1er juin). On ne manquera pas non plus, toujours dans le registre sacré, le Requiem de Fauré par les chanteurs d’Accentus dirigés par Laurence Equilbey (les 10 et 11 juin), la chef de chœur que l’on retrouve également sous le pseudonyme d’Iko pour un concert de musique électro (le 11 juin). A quelques pas de la basilique, le bâtiment de La Légion d’honneur accueille les concerts de musique de chambre, notamment le duo formé par Renaud Capuçon et Hélène Grimaud (les 8 et 9 juin), dont le concert Schubert-Ravel-Brahms est très attendu – même si la pianiste enchaîne ces derniers temps les annulations de concert ! Enfin, dans un tout autre répertoire, le Festival propose un concert de musiques méditerranéennes sous la houlette de Smadj, célèbre joueur d’oud (le 17 juin).
