MUSIQUES SACREES / AVEYRON
Nichée au cœur de l’Aveyron, l’Abbaye de Sylvanès est un chef-d’œuvre de l’architecture romane. Chaque été s’y tient un festival dont la spécificité est de mêler répertoires liturgiques et musiques du monde. On pourra ainsi entendre cette année la délicieuse Magali Léger avec l’ensemble Rosasolis dans le Stabat mater de Boccherini (le 11 août), les Tallis Scholars, qui fêtent leur quarante ans, dans une sélection de polyphonies européennes, de Palestrina à Arvo Pärt (le 18 août), ou encore les Solistes de Lyon de Bernard Tétu dans Un Requiem allemand de Brahms (dans la version avec piano à quatre mains, le 21 juillet). Dans un autre registre sont invités à Sylvanès le chœur La Grâce de Kinshasa (pour des chants d’Afrique, le 7 juillet), le Trio flamenco (le 21 juillet) ou l’ensemble Troïka d’Ukraine (le 28 juillet). Un mélange habile que l’on doit au fondateur et directeur artistique du Festival, Michel Wolkowitsky, comédien et chanteur de formation, qui tiendra d’ailleurs la partie de récitant du concert du 13 juillet. Le Festival propose également des concerts en dehors de Sylvanès (à Rodez, Conques…), des master-classes de chant lyrique et un festival « off ».
