Pour la quinzième édition du Festival Auteurs en Acte, Marcos Malavia et Muriel Roland, qui en assurent la direction artistique, ont décidé de « suivre le fil rouge de l’écriture des résistances » afin de « chasser gaiement le stéréotype, le déjà vu et déjà entendu » et de rappeler que la culture ne se réduit pas aux produits culturels. Sous les oripeaux de l’homo oeconomicus se cache un homo sapiens qui continue de penser sa condition et est capable d’encore la contester. Le théâtre est, dans cette perspective, le maquis de cette résistance, « parce qu’il est le laboratoire de l’expérience d’une construction collective où chacun a son rôle, du public, de l’acteur au metteur en scène, en passant par les techniciens et tous les corps de métier qui le composent ». Pendant la durée du festival, les initiatives et les actions se multiplient pour donner à tous ces acteurs réels et potentiels les moyens d’aménager leur lucidité et leur responsabilité. Avec Spectateurs en acte, un stage est organisé pour aider le public à écrire son Journal de bord du festivalier. Avec Paroles en acte, un débat est organisé qui réinscrit les enjeux de cette programmation thématique dans une réflexion globale sur la place de l’art dans la société. Enfin, avec Un auteur chez vous, le festival délocalise les lieux de représentation pour lutter activement contre le fantasme du « non public ». Tous ces événements entourent une programmation de qualité qui accueille cette année une dizaine de spectacles dont la force spectaculaire est à la hauteur de l’urgence à penser et à lutter que cette édition a choisi comme thème palpitant.
