Du côté des auteurs : André Roussin (Un amour qui ne finit pas), Eugène Ionesco (Délire à deux, Par la fenêtre), Alfred Jarry (Ubu Roi*), William Shakespeare (Beaucoup de bruit pour rien, La Nuit des rois), Victor Hugo (L’Homme qui rit), Molière (Le Médecin malgré lui), Paul Claudel (La Muse qui est la Grâce)… Quant aux metteurs en scène : Michel Fau, Olivier Desbordes, Clément Poirée, Jérémie Le Louët, Raphaël de Angelis, Brice Cousin, Cécile Messineo… « Notre sourire de cet été est un sourire offensif, déclarent Olivier Desbordes et Michel Fau, les deux codirecteurs du Festival de Figeac. Un sourire revendiquant la liberté, utilisant l’ironie, la satire, la tendre moquerie, la bouffonnerie comme des armes contre les drapeaux noirs de l’ignorance ! » De grands textes et une tonalité frondeuse traceront ainsi les lignes de ces deux semaines de théâtre, de poésie, de musique, de chansons. Deux semaines également ponctuées de lectures, de projections de films, ainsi que de rencontres avec les différents artistes en résidence, qui seront présents à Figeac durant toute la durée du festival.
